About Roshan

Roshan has been teaching chess and math more than 25 years and he is a FIDE Instructor and a national Arbiter in Chess. He has taught thousands of kids and currently looking after a couple of hundred o kids in group classes and individual classes. PMI current students are from New Zealand, Australia, Sri Lanka, India, China, Malaysia and Malawi. He loves to connect Chess with Math and strongly believes CHESS IS A GYM FOR MATHS. He holds master’s degree an Engineering and a manufacturing Consultant by profession. He was born and bred in Sri Lanka and currently residing in New Zealand. His students are performing excellent in all over the world.

Pricing Plans

Group Classes

Group classes are held for the students in similar level. There are 12 different classes in different levels held during the weekdays and weekends

Number of students in a class can vary from 6 to 15.

1 hour session per week. 

Class time to be confirmed depending on the level of the student.

IndivIdual classes

Individual classes are held for the players from beginner level to advance chess player level.

Times for the classes and the fees

$30 per 30-minute session

$45 per 45-minute session

$60 per 1 hour session 

Customized plan for individual students and a chance to play with the coach with material odds and special positions.

Tournaments

Various tournaments are held for different level of players onsite and online. Online tournaments are held using  www.tornelo.com, www.lichess.org , www.chesskid.com  and www.chess.com

fees vary from Free of charge to $50+ per tournament

In some tournaments Players will get a chance to play with GMs, IMs and other titled players and analyze the games with them.
